Naasha began her flying journey with her father, Khushroo, in 2018. After progressing to an advanced level, she quickly realised how deeply paragliding can transform the life of every pilot. Inspired by the impact of the sport, she felt a strong calling to introduce paragliding to as many people as possible. In 2021, she began instructing under her father’s guidance at their paragliding school.

With a desire to strengthen her skills and evolve her teaching methods, Naasha travelled to the USA for advanced training—completing two intensive 6-month seasons. She returned to India with valuable international experience, giving her the ability to guide pilots with clarity, precision, and confidence. In August 2025, she travelled to Canada to earn her official instructor rating, further solidifying her expertise.

Alongside her flying credentials, Naasha holds a master’s degree in psychology with a specialization in sports psychology. She brings this knowledge into her training, helping students develop the mindset required for safe, long-term progression in an inherently risky sport like paragliding. Her psychological insight is a unique advantage for students learning paragliding.

It has now been six years since she started instructing, and she cannot imagine life without teaching. Today, she plays a central role in shaping the next generation of pilots who come to learn paragliding near Mumbai and grow within the vibrant flying community of Alibaug.
