What you'll actually learn
Day 1-2 . P1 Introductory.
Ground handling, Kiting, first solo flight from our training take-off. Understand your wing before you trust your life to it.
Day 3-8 . P2 Student pilot.
Perform 9 flights with instructor instructions, attempt your 10th flight on your own judgement. We will be there to guide you if needed. Weather reading, basic maneuvers, Understanding of aerodynamics, fluid dynamics, emergency procedure awareness will all be covered.
Day 9-13 . P3 Novice pilot training.
Developing an understanding of how to gain height using upward moving air flow. Learn advanced safety maneuvers. We will fly in a limited weather envelope, you will make your own plan, Conduct a pre-flight weather assessment, And you will also be discussing in depth about your flights building a post-flight debriefing culture.
Day 14-15 . P3 Novice pilot Exam (first solo pilot license).
You will be given an online MCQ type question paper to demonstrate theoretical understanding of paragliding in order to clear any doubts and keep you safe. The tasks you have demonstrated through the course will be counted as your practical tasks, however if any are left we will conduct them on this day. Your task sheet will be handed over to you and a copy will be maintained with us as well.
After 15 days. Life time access.
Return any time. Join our thermal flying and XC clinics. Fly with us at new sites. Hire available equipment for ₹5000/- a day, or use your personal equipment. As part of our Student for life program you are entitled to Free instructions at all sites we are operating.

What does free instructions for life actually mean?
Whenever Paragliding Bawas is operating at a site- whether that's a weekend session near Mumbai or a fly- camp in Bir- You can join for instruction at no charge. The only thing you pay for after 15 days course is your travel accommodation and equipment.
Can I hire equipment after the course?
Yes, when equipment is available. Give us advance notice so we can reserve a wing and harness for you.
Will I get an official paragliding license in 15 days?
Yes, you can. You will require to pass the practical and theory exams to gain the license. Your license will reflect your skill level in the sport of paragliding.
Can I join any clinics you are condicting?
Yes, provided you have your own equipment or have rented equipment through us. This option is available when we are already conducting a paid course or clinic, with priority always given to paying participants.
