Equipment maintenance services by Parateckie- FAQs
Q: How often should I service my paraglider?
A: We recommend an annual inspection or after every 100 hours of air time, whichever comes first — just like a car service.
If you own a high D or CCC glider we recommend checking it every 70 hours or 6 months.
Q: Do you service all brands and models of paragliders?
A: Yes, Parateckie services all paraglider brands including Ozone, Nova, Gin, Advance, Skywalk, and more.
Q: How long does a full inspection and service take?
A: A standard inspection typically takes 1-2 working days depending on the services required. We'll give you a timeline when you book.
Q: What happens if my glider fails the porosity check?
A: We'll provide you with a full written report of the results. If the fabric has deteriorated beyond safe limits, we'll advise you on whether to retire the glider and help you choose a replacement.
Q: Do I need to bring my harness and reserve separately?
A: Yes, if you'd like your reserve repacked or your harness inspected, please bring those along with your wing. Each item is booked and assessed separately.
Q: Can I watch the inspection being done?
A: Absolutely. We encourage pilots to attend and observe so you understand your own equipment better.
Q: Do you issue any certification or report after the service?
A: Yes, every service comes with a written report detailing what was inspected, what was found, and what was done — useful for your logbook and insurance.
Q: Can I drop off my glider if I'm not from Mumbai?
